Ben Lane  a.k.a Big Daddy B, is a seasoned bassist known for his deep groove and dynamic stage presence. As the bassist for Wade Forster, he brings a solid foundation to one of Australia's rising country music acts. He is also an original member of The Wounded who is made up of Ben Westphal and Matt Mallardi, a band that has left its mark on the Australian music scene.

A Lakland Artist, Ben's playing is defined by precision, tone, and adaptability across genres. His career has taken him on extensive tours across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA, performing at major festivals, iconic venues, and sharing the stage with some of the industry's finest musicians.

Outside of music, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, as well as cooking — especially over an open fire and playing video games. Whether on stage or at home, his passion for creativity and craftsmanship is at the heart of everything he does.
